Welcome to Garden Plan landscape gardening.
Garden Plan is a specialist landscape gardening business,
based in Hale Barns, near Altrincham in Cheshire. 2006 is my
36th year of operation as a landscape gardener, and with it
comes a wealth of experience in landscape gardening.
My name is Peter Stubbs (have a look at my information page), and I started on my
own as Garden Plan in 1970. Since then, the many landscape
gardening projects that I have undertaken have ranged from
landscaping part of a Welsh hillside at Betws Gwerfil Goch,
to the 'postage stamp' sized patio at Ganders wine bar in
Goose Green, Altrincham. The styles of my landscaping vary
depending on the client and the setting of the garden. I work
with natural stone, tanalised timber, gravels, mulches, and a
wide repertoire of plants. My areas of operation are Cheshire
and South Manchester, with a heartland of Hale, Bowdon,
Altrincham, Lymm, Knutsford and Wilmslow. Please contact me
via my Contact page, to arrange a
consultation, or just for some general information.
On this website, you will find an extensive collection of
photographs, demonstrating my wealth of landscape gardening
experience. These photographs chart much of the work that I
have undertaken over the years. I have divided the
photographs into several representative landscape gardening
projects and themes. The projects include:
In the landscape gardening Themes
section, I have subdivided the photographs into styles
(Japanese, Italianate, Mediterranean), decking, planting,
transforming, restoration, low-maintenance, island beds,
paving, walling, and water features.
I have also included an abstract feature
that I designed and constructed in the 1970's - in this section
I have presented my original design and projection together
with photographs of the finished project.
The important subject of
drainage is treated separately,
and several more photographs have been arranged into a gallery of my landscaping work
and some interesting panoramas.
Garden Plan is your professional, personal landscape
gardening specialist. I am changing the face of Britain, bit
by bit - why not let your bit of Britain be next?
